Our body breaks down the protein that we eat into tiny chemicals called amino acids which are used for:
โ Damage repair in the body (wherever needed)
โ Building Muscles which are broken down when you workout.
โ Increasing strength bcz by using protein our muscle fibers get thicker leading to higher strength.
As per WHO & NIN Indian population needs 0.8 gm protein per kg of body weight and for heavy body builders the body has the capability to digest upto 2 gm of protein per kg body weight.
